With the holidays over and the town recovered from the power outage, dog-mom and amateur sleuth, Eve, is determined to eke out whatever enjoyment she can from the cold weather; hot coffee, hiking in the snow with her dogs… and ice-skating dates with Aidan.






Their budding relationship seems to be going well, but when they discover a body in a pond on Sophia’s property, they put romance on the back burner to solve the crime.






With an airtight alibi, Sophia isn’t a suspect, but anyone who boards their horse on her property or rides there is. Given free rein to help figure out who the culprit is, Eve and her friends spend their spare time helping with the horses in an effort to earn the trust of the tight-knit riding community in Granite.
