I absolutely loved all 3 titles and I’m just hoping that there is a 4th! Great characters, fantastic descriptive writing, I’ve been totally engrossed. This is a new genre of books for me and I’m totally converted! Well done Matthew Harffy!

Absolutely brilliant! Once again, an awesome story with superb characters. The narration is superb bringing all the characters alive.

First, let me say that this is the first book review I have taken time to write. Second, I absolutely loved the book. After reading the Wolf of Wessex I stubbled upon A Time for Swords. This is now my fourth book by Mathew Hardy (read by Barnaby Edwards) and I am hooked. I’ve listen to a lot of audio books and I was initially skeptical that a book so long could hold my interest, but after listening to A Time for Swords, I thought that no longer. I also believe that the narrator can make all the difference in an audio books success and Barnaby Edwards has delivered each time with his rich voice bringing alive each character. I have become fascinated with the time period after watching the Netflix series Last Kingdom and love the historical aspect as the background for the fictional characters Mathew brings to life. I too can’t wait for the next book of Hunlaf’s adventures!
