Unabridged Audiobook
Mr Egan is an excellent journalist who deftly presents the story of the challenges facing the Great Lakes in the past, recent past and currently. He covers a wide range of subjects and the book does read like a collection of articles at times; as I expect that is where he draws his expertise. This leads to some repetition of content. Nonetheless, I came away with a very good understanding of the environmental, commercial, fisheries, and public policy issues related to these Great Lakes. It was an enjoyable listen. Narration was very good. Close the canal.
