It was impossible to tell if this was a good book because the author broke the #1 rule of being an author: Never narrate your own books! It was almost impossible to listen to. The book ended in a very predictable fashion as well. I’m sure this was her first attempt at fiction. Her other two fiction books — more recent — were both really, really good. So hopefully she keeps writing and never goes back to narrating.

I found it hard work at the start for explanation of the characters, but quickened up about three quarters of the way through.

Awesome story, kept me listening. I liked her voice too.
