Summary
While many books debate the finer points of the doctrine of the atonement, the real-life implications of Jesus’s death on the cross are often overlooked. Written in the form of pastoral letters, Death by Love outlines the twelve primary effects of the atonement and connects each to the life of a different individual. Driscoll, one of America’s most influential pastors, and Breshears, a respected theologian, help readers understand, appreciate, and trust in Jesus’s work on the cross in a way that will transform their lives. Both deeply theological and intensely practical, this book shows how everyone can find hope through the death of Jesus Christ

A well written book, in depth background information, challenging and insightful about just who and what Jesus done for each one of us regardless of our sinful life. He offers redemption for a repentant heart will to confess our sins with the intention of turning away from the abominations that we really should receive judgement and damnation for, but for the grace of God.
