over all a good book to pass time. maybe more to come to see how the family adapted to the world changing. as ever history stories go you may get rid of one Tyrant but there is another behind them. I would buy the next one

I don't know if the fact that I've listened to entire Malazan book of the fallen series before listening to this made my expectations high, but the story was not really well written, there should be multiple trigger warnings in the description and there was at least one or two chapters missing at the end... I feel cheated listening to all of this without proper ending, cause I'm not buying another book... I should have read the reviews online before buying this title. The narrator was exceptional btw.

Quite a twist to the story of who are the good guys and who not!. An enjoyable listen with unique characters. I would like more from Piper Cj

I enjoyed the audiobook and look forward to the next one so I can get closure.

wasn't sure i was going to like it at firstBut I had nothing else to listen to so I continued. now I can't wait for the next book. I was different, but the same as fantasy. it reminded me of crescent city by Sarah j maas. Loved it! can't wait for the next book!!
