Deliverance by Katelyn Taylor is a dark forbidden romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Heather Firth and CJ Bloom. This is the second book of Katelyn's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I loved the chemistry between Maggie and Bridgette. Their relationship was extremely messy, but I couldn't help but root for them. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the story. It really brought the story to life. I will definitely be checking out the Gallows Hill series so I can get Skyla and her boy's story. Heather and CJ did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future. I would recommend this book if you're looking for an FF Romance, Forbidden Romance, or secret society romance.

I couldn't wait to return to this world! I had the opportunity to listen to Deliverance by Katelyn Taylor and it is full of dark themes, a beauty relationship, and all of the tropes I love in a dark academia and forbidden romance! The chemistry between these characters was palpable, their relationship development was full of swoony moments, a maddening push and pull dynamic, and hit me in the feels! I loved learning more about the characters, seeing this world through their eyes, and understanding their motivations and intentions that we caught glimpses of in the Gallows Hill series of Deceit, Descent, and Demise. These characters are well developed and Maggie and Bridgett's individual stories are emotionally complexity, raw, tragic, brutal and consuming.
