Unabridged Audiobook
A solid audio-book for behavioral recovery and good self displace audio-book. Some great ideas for dealing with bipolar issues. A little more modern age method will welcome.
This audio-book is fabulous, it really is. for anyone that has ever dealt with any kind of overwhelming emotions where you feel like your stress or emotions are drowning.
Really changed my life, this audio-book✨
These are great to help you gain skills to deal with anxiety. I bought these when I could not afford therapy. Great self-help books.
This DBT book is thorough and engaging! The content widens the scope of DBT practice for all types of people
Very up-to-date and easy to listen to. A great reference to this useful therapy. Handy for mental health professionals and patients alike.
I have been away from school for a while and usually fall asleep with any mention of the word "textbook." This book is easy to understand, clearly written. I need to learn new skills, and this book is a good way to start.
Such an informative and well written, easy to listen to book. Great for layperson or professional, a must listen to. You will learn from it.
Many familiar concepts from CBT, but the mindfulness and dialectic contradictions are extremely useful for careers as well as therapists and experts. If only we could all set 'limits' rather than 'boundaries.
The book had clear writing, which made some of the concepts easier to understand. I've read several books on this topic. This was one of the more user-friendly.
This has truly made a difference with my panic disorder, and I am so I grateful it was recommended to me! I highly recommend it to anyone who is having a hard time coping with anxiety, panic, or PTSD.
If you are looking for a basic introduction to DBT, this is the book for you! I really liked the case examples and suggestions for explaining concepts to clients. Though it's set up for individual therapy, it is not difficult to apply the concepts to groups as well. I used this book in preparing for a mindfulness group for adolescents.
This is a potentially transforming book. I recommend it to anybody interested in the subject. The penny finally dropped for me on a number of concepts I have not properly understood for years. A client, like a therapist or me, would find the approach of the author both practical and heartwarming. The clear theoretical background is matched by the practical down to Earth and very helpful skills training.
Excellent book for all skill levels, from a refresher to an introduction; everyone will get something from listening to this book.
I bought the book as I started to see a therapist who recommended some of the practices. As I am curious, I wanted to understand the concepts, and it really has helped me look at things in different ways, which both support the way I look at myself but also in how I respond to and reflect on events around me, including a deeper understanding of people I encounter.
