Sorry. I mean I wish I could write a book. So who am I to critic BUT please, when you read this remember I'm 50yo woman and has been reading since before Google and when books was all we had. maybe this book was not written with me in mind ..... so please take my review in the right frame of mind. I'm sorry. It took this book about 15 chapters to get to a point, to start building a tension between two of the characters (though predictable) but even then it is so cringie and full with unnecessarily long descriptions of who sent email to whom and who was cced that I almost gave up. The whole back story of Ella needing to write a review on the date is so rom-com done already I so wished the writer would find something more original. But finally some romance or even some kind of story started to form, and then about 7 chapters of leaving it and moving to other characters and their stories. I'm in chapter 28 that returns to the "main" characters but truthfully I lost all thread of thought and interest that was built a bit. But I did finish the book, the end was predictable, but worse, it was written as if to hurry and finish all with a nice bowtie. I so wish the last chapters and characters evolution and stories was done in the end as long and detailed as the first 15 chapters that gave us nothing for the story unless, yeah, we know, you hate your boss. but - maybe, if you are 20 something this book is for you, maybe it's a lingo or content that is not part of my world so it all seemed unnecessary to me.... It's a cute book... very rom-com hallmark/prime type. The narrator voice of kitty was so annoying and sounded like a 12yo in a tantrum all the time, weird and weirder when she was dating and spicy stuff (very mild don't worry)

Not a genre I usually enjoy but I found this book witty and enjoyable. The only thing I did not enjoy was the voice of Phillip. Not sure what the narrator was going for, but it didn’t work for me.

Lovely

Fun story. The narrator was difficult to enjoy. Her voice for the character Phillip sounded villainous , like Lord Farquad from Shrek or Scar from the Lion King.

I enjoyed the story but found a couple of the character voices a bit annoying.

I didn't particularly like any of the main female characters because of their self obsession, stupidity, selfishness, and cruelty an overall they just seemed vapid. Thank God they at least came to their senses a teensy bit and got a little bit better overall by the end. When the narrator did the male voices they sounded half asleep. And most of the female voices graded on my nerves.

Loved the book, laughed out loud, the only feedback is “Philip’s” voice was very off putting , made him sound in masculine….

Cute book, didn’t need 3 people to read it however. Threw me off a bit
