Unabridged Audiobook
Beautifully written and especially appreciated it being narrated by Jacinda, the author. The title of the book left me hoping for more theory as to her philosophies buther retelling of her personal journey gave enough implied.
I always admired her while she was prime minister and after reading her book , I admire her even more. Thank you for a honest, down to earth memoir. She set the example that kindness costs nothing but means so much!
Not at all an enjoyable listen. If you are an animal welfare/ rights person, this book is a wrong choice.
I thought it was a really good listen. I attended her book signing in Boston. I leaned from her challenges and appreciated her candid thoughts on motherhood and public life. I applaud her kindness and empathy but, after having worked i the White House, I know things weren't handed and sometimes you have to do a little bad to get a lot of good. There has to be some ambition in there somewhere but its her book and her story to tell. Overall a good listen.
I found a new role model in Jacinda through this book. I am convinced our world would be better, if more leaders would adapt her view on leadership and kindness.
Excellent moving book, Ms Arden recounts the challenges women politicians encounter as well as the experience of having and raising a child while Prime Minister. I hope she writes a book about her experiences after her resignation as she took a job at Harvard, I believe she may still be there.
As a former mayor, I enjoyed hearing the similarities in our lives as public servants.
An open and honest behind the scenes memoire that will leave you inspired. Thank you for writing, and for continuing the hard work of championing kindness and empathy in a world still dominated by fear and power.
