Excellent narrator. Didn't try and "do" voices which I like a lot because IMO it never really works. Story was OK not really what I was expecting if I was honest but it kept me listening (I think in the hope that something more was coming

Very enjoyable first half of the book, memorable characters steeped in political and social intrigues, marvelous details about the food and wine world, You’ll want to listen every chance you get. Just be warned that the second half of the book feels a bit lazy, characters and plot taking unbelievable turns, inexcusable behavior gets rewarded, the romance gets rushed, we don’t learn anything more about the main character that would explain his choices. But I listened to the end and can say it was a fun ride.

The book was well written with good twists and turns. It was a great book to listen too, and I would recommend it to a friend. I hope the story will continue in a series.
