Direct Threat

Wonderful start to what looks to be an exciting series! The characters come alive with unique personalities with excitement and suspense at every turn of the page. Highly recommended!

I loved this story. It took a minute to get used to the narrator but soon had no problem.\r\nIt’s a great story Olivia is in business with her partner Frank as a bodyguard. Mark is working with them and soon there’s sparks. They are protecting a 10 year old girl. \r\nThere is a real reliance on God in the story.

Direct Threat, by Kimberly Rose Johnson, is the first in the Protection Inc. series and is an engaging romantic suspense book. I really enjoyed the fast-paced, edge-of-the-seat action and, of course, the romance, that kept this reader's 'pages turning'. I had a hard time putting the book down. The characters are realistic and relatable and the story believable. It is filled with mystery, intrigue, and an adventuresome child. Readers who enjoy faith-based suspense-filled stories that have a touch of romance will not want to miss this book--family, faith, and love. I'll be looking for more to read! I listened to a complimentary copy of the audiobook, and Rachel Leblang did a great job narrating Carissa, Marc, and Olivia's story. I was not required to write a review, and the opinions are my own.
