Unabridged Audiobook
Starting a new book in this series is starting to feel like coming home to old friends—masterfully done on Monroe’s part. This installment is especially fun because it takes place, pretty much on a cooking reality show set. The female lead is a very insecure master baker / plant mom / geek and I relate to her so much at times. There’s also some mystery and danger in the air, making it suspenseful. It made me laugh out loud a few times, there were overbearing parents I loved to hate, lots of misunderstandings, which led to angst, and there’s clearly still so much more on the horizon. I’m moving right into the next one. 4.5 stars. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Audio- Perfection.
