Unabridged Audiobook
I'm sorry. I do not like to give a bad review to anyone. But this was not good. I mean, part of me tried to wrap my head around the fact that NO woman could be as dumb as Naomi, but yes, I have met women that dumb. I know they exist. So I guess it is plausible for the main character to be so completely dense. I have listened to so many books narrated by Marin Ireland, and I could had this sense that she was dumbfounded by just how awful this story was. I know that we read Freida McFadden books when we just need a silly, not at all serious read, but this was just terrible. Why I hung in and kept listening, I'll tell you why. I was waiting for my next credit to arrive, and I drive a lot and need a story in the car. I rolled my eyes so many times. I have not read too many of her books. I read the Housemaid, and Dear Debbie. Dear Debbie may have been her best one yet. Sorry to be hurtful to the author, but this one was quite possibly the worst thing I have ever read/listened to.
Another psychological thriller with lots of unseen twists by Frieda McFadden! Loved it! Could not stop listening. Definitely kept me awake while driving.
It was just Ok. I don't get the hype with this book. I had a hard time listening to this story. I cant imagine someone being so dumb. The story dragged on with an unlikeable character. The ending was good. But I almost stopped listening because of how much it dragged.
love Freida! books. easy listening
Good narration. Good story line and a decent little twist per usual with Frieda
The voice for the little boy Tommy was very annoying. Naomi sounds like she’s got a stuffy nose.
The narrator sounds like she has a head cold and should have taken a few weeks off before doing the reading.
It was good, but ended confusing lol
I just began chapter 4, and it sounds familiar??? Like from another book???
