Summary
Venture into the heart of Paris's elusive fashion scene with the audiobook 'Dog Who Chased CHAtNEL Hoodie: Part 1' by H.Gwyne. Immerse yourself in the audio rendition of Jindo's enthralling journey, a bright-eyed protégé lured into the opulent yet secretive world of Gabrielle, a designer whose enigmatic history with CHANEL is as alluring as her designs.

As Jindo delves deeper into the high-stakes world of haute couture, his initial wonder is laced with unsettling truths, revealing the high fashion industry's dichotomy beneath its glamorous veneer. He stumbles upon hidden agendas and concealed biases, where Gabrielle's charismatic exterior belies the dark secrets she harbours.

Experience the captivating story unfold through a symphony of voices, portraying the cut-throat dynamics and covert stratagems that drive the fashion elite, all through the metaphor of a canine's unwavering pursuit. This satirical narrative, rich in dark humour, exposes the fashion realm's duality, mirroring the animalistic traits—both affectionate and ruthless—of its players.

I find the story quite engaging. Some might not understand why the main character (Jindo) does not just leave Gabrielle. For me, I was kinda the same at first, but I understand in the end that, it was all build-up for the next series. Quite realistic in a way though. Anyway, it's a good novel for sure.

Loved it. Interesting story with a good quality narration. The Dog and Cat metaphor by the author (H.Gwyne) was smart, and I suppose it's to prevent any controversial claim for gender or race issues. Smart choice and Well written and narrated. Well done. It's good to read. Not waste of time at all, rather worth it. Great!!

Dog Who Chased CHAtNEL Hoodie... First off, it's not about dog and cat, but more about a man and woman. They are just metaphor, used to describe their characteristic behaviour at particular situations. Nice narration by British female speaker for a long but well-written novel. I feel that this long novel is fine and actually good, but it's more like build-up for the next series. Looking forward to the next one.

Well written and narrated, but for me, a little long and detailed. For some, I'm sure those details are very insightful and intriguing. Anyway, interesting story by a unique perspective, and the characters are charming. I hope there will be more direct interactions from the characters in the next series though this Part 1 is still not bad on that at all. For me, the characters' interaction is the key of this novel where there come many interesting facts and elements through it. Anyway, it's a good audiobook for sure.

The novel is excellent. One of the best books I've read recently... Quite long with various elements and episodes... The author cleverly used a metaphor of dog and cat, supposedly the characters' behavior as a male and female... Surely worth read or listen. Well written and narrated though.

I recently finished listening to an audiobook that took me through the high fashion world of Paris with a twist I didn't expect. The story revolves around two incredibly charming characters, Jindo and Gabrielle, whose dynamics reminded me of a dog and a cat - a clever metaphor that added depth to their interactions. The novel shines a light on the fashion industry, from garment-making to its less glamorous backstages, with a narrative that's as insightful as it is entertaining. The British wit woven through the well-crafted prose had me chuckling more than once. The blend of languages used was a fresh touch that mirrored the contemporary setting perfectly. Can't wait to see what's next in this series!
