Unabridged Audiobook
I have always liked Dolly Parton for her spunky personality, good character, and giving heart. I'm not a country western fan, but I do enjoy her stories and music as they relate to her life experiences. This book is really a series of long personal interviews, so if you enjoy Dolly, you'll love this book.
This book touched my heart at such a deep level. What an Angel we have in Dolly Parton.
I always looked at getting/listening to this. I’m Canadian and have always loved her, loved her songs and film roles. My parents loved her and I grew up listening to her; they actually saw her live in the 1970s, before I existed (I turned 40 this year). Sadly, it took Dolly passing away last week for me to buy this, not on purpose, I think it was just one of many on my TBR list. It feels strange that she’s gone. It’s nice to hear her voice again as she narrates this book. R.I.P. Dolly, the world is now a darker place for having lost a such a light in the world and beautiful soul. ️
Dolly is the best!! What a great read!!

Great Read
Great stories about Dolly and her life .
Completely enjoyable, absolutely charming and provides great insights into one of the most talented creators there is. Not just for fans, a worthwhile listen for anyone, but I admit to being a huge fan.
For the Ultimate Dolly Fan. Loved it.
I love Dolly but couldn’t get past the fact that every song she mentioned was “one of my favorites”. Also, during her narration she kept sniffing. I don’t know if she had allergies or it was all the plastic surgety talking.
I love all things Dolly and wanted to give this 5 stars but just couldn’t. It was more like listening to a long radio interview that was pretty repetitive. If it weren’t Dolly I wouldn’t rate it as high as I did.
I love all of her songs
