Unabridged Audiobook
I loved the audio version just as much as the eBook version. The narrators do a wonderful job and make this a very enjoyable listen.
Loved this book when I read it and listening to the audio just enhanced it. I thought the narrators did a great job bringing Paxton and Hartford to life.
I have become a true fan of Logan Chance's books, and this one does not disappoint. It is a friends to lovers romcom, which I always enjoy. Hartford is a journalist who needs to write an article on BDSM. She gets help from Paxton, her best friend since kindergarten. They share all their secrets, except their true feelings for each other, which are apparent to everyone in their social circle. Some truly funny things happen as they experiment together, but they take it all in stride and remain undaunted in their attempts. I love their friends - some of whom are in previous books - and family. The book is well written, humorous, easy to read, and hard to put down. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.UPDATE for audiobook (4 stars narration):I really enjoyed listening to the audiobook (about a year after reading the ebook). Paxton's chapters were narrated by Chris Chambers, and Hartford's chapters were narrated by Carolyn Eve. They read well but I felt the pace was too slow; it was great once I turned it up to 1.3. I looked forward to any opportunities I had to listen to the story. I received an audiobook copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Great story narration. Book was great also.
Giggles abounded while reading this book! Paxton and Hartford have been besties since they were little. Into adulthood their bond was unbreakable so when Hartfords boss asks her to write a article on BDSM who else would she ask for help from. A calamity of a story is so sweet and endearing while being angsty and spicy. This is not an in-depth jump into the lifestyle but a testing of the waters for those new to the world. I quite enjoyed this book and will reread it again in the future when I need a good light hearted escape. Narration was great! I loved listening to these two finally opening their eyes!
loved the book. great annunciation. friends to lovers is a great trope and pax and hart are the best of friends.
