Loved this one! The twists were amazing and I didn’t want to stop listening, especially the end, it had me hooked.

Very engaging! Listened to this book straight through in a single day!! Some very unexpected twists and turns and narrator was wonderful! One of the best books I’ve listened to!

It was a little slow starting but the twists in the story were unmatched! I really enjoyed the narrator and how she portrayed the different characters!

Excellent read. I was surprised but I couldn’t stop listening. Not a boring moment and what a twist. Highly recommend this book.

Okay I’ve gotta preface this by saying I am pretty stingy with my 5 star reviews, but this one was a strong 4.5, rounded up to 5! I read a lot, and a lot of thrillers in particular, and was surprised at how much I enjoyed this one. The narrator was great and probably helped with that enjoyment (though I did think her male voice was a bit odd but that’s not a huge deal). Loved the twists and turns, and stayed up late into the night (actually early morning) finishing it!

Excellent book and narration

The narrator reminded me of a Peppa Pig character. I almost tuned out upon initially hearing her voice. The gaslighting and repetitive actions in the story was highly aggravating. I almost quit reading mid-way through. I increased the speed to get through the book faster. I had high hopes from the title and reviews… but was thoroughly disappointed.

Was in a bit of a reading slump, finally decided to read this one and loved it!

Great story! Keeps you guessing until the very end and never lets up. The narrator was really good with the female characters, but seemed to have trouble with the male characters. The males all sounded very alike. It was a little difficult to understand which male was speaking. But, nevertheless, with the wonderful story and pace of the book makes you easily forgive.

Wow!!!! The story really raised my anxiety but I also couldn't stop listening! I didn't love the narrators male voices but I did really like her narrative all the same.

I was totally hooked, there’s so much tension between the characters! Narrator sounded a little stuffy at times but overall did a great job.

Amazing book. Had me drawn in from the beginning. All the twists. Definitely will be on the look out for more reads by this author

I loved the story. It was a great psychological mystery and thriller. The characters were very consistent in their behavior as well as personality. The tension of uncertainty was constant and building.

I fought the truth all the way till the end just waiting for a twist that never came. It was a good free vip book don’t think i would have bought it otherwise

The Narrator did a great job of voicing the different characters, made it easier to finish quickly. The story itself wasn’t bad, gave me Hand that Rocks the Cradle vibes which that was a good one too. Worth a listen.

Extremely predictable. Basically all dialog, too. If the author wanted to write a screenplay, she should've just done that. The narrator is okay...but she cannot do a male voice. It's really distracting the way she approaches it.

Again a novel with a main character that simply seems to be so unbelievably dumb. But some nice twists in the end

I know I’m in the minority but found this THE most frustrating irritating listen. If you like listening to stories where you know what’s going on as clear as day but the protagonist doesn’t then it’s for you but if you like intelligent characters give this a miss. Went on for hours along the same vein I had to fast forward a lot of it. It did get better towards the climax but was still eye rollingly frustrating in places. Perhaps if it was half the length it would have worked better. Narrator was excellent though.
