Don't Tread On Jesus: A Healing Manifesto for Reclaiming Radical Community and Discipleship from a Culture of Fear, Loneliness, and Lovelessness

Have you ever considered that much of what we call Christianity isn't actually Christian?

The Church quietly traded:

A rabbi you walked with—traded for a stage you watched. A table you belonged to—traded for a program you attended. A family who bore your wounds—traded for a service that managed your symptoms.

Written by a former pastor, missionary, and hospitality operator who spent six years in the wilderness of his own healing, this is no ivory-tower theory. Drawing on the world of the Bible, church history, and the social sciences—and years spent living in communities that still work, from Europe to Asia to Appalachia—Aaron Little issues a fierce yet vulnerable manifesto for a spiritual revolution—built on five long-forgotten Christian cornerstones:

Embrace Healing — Move beyond symptom management to cure the root of your fears, anxieties, and loneliness—real shalom.

Reclaim Community — Dismantle consumer Christianity and rebuild the beth ab, the deeply interconnected, covenantal “father's house” on which the ancient world—and the early Church—was built.

Resurrect Discipleship — Stop being a passive spectator and become a fiercely devoted talmid of the true Rabbi, Jesus—not a student of ideas, but a follower of a life.

Cultivate Courageous Dissidence — Make ordinary faithfulness an act of courage again—living openly and uncompromised in a culture that rewards neither.

Wield Radical Love — Serve as the mortar that binds the remnant together, touching the untouchable and embracing the outcast.

This is not another book of diagnoses without solutions. It's an invitation to join a real movement, with real people, in real time.

Join the Remnant. Build the House. Follow the Rabbi.
