What a fantastic short story! Lawrence Simpson did an excellent job setting the stage, drawing me into Lance Kenyon’s life and making me fully invested in the story. With many short stories, I often feel like something’s missing or I’m left wanting more, but DOT was just perfect. It balanced romance and suspense, beautifully, capturing my attention from the very beginning. The ending was also so satisfying. I listen to the audio version, and the narrator was absolutely amazing… He really brought the story to life.

Loved the narration of Patrick J. Hinchliffe Since the disappears of his wife years ago Lance Kenyon has been living in a world of questions. The small town of Two Falls suspect him of harming his missing wife. Living a half life. When a teenage girl disappears can there be a connection. Lance is again under suspicion. He now must find out what has happened and this changes everything.

I was entertained by this novella. This was my first experience with this author's work, and it was good. As this novella was short, I was able to listen to the whole audiobook in one sitting. Although the story was short and there was a lot left to my imagination, I thought the characters were memorable and realistic. I thought Patrick J. Hinchliffe's narration was entertaining, and his performance kept my attention. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to leave this review which included my honest opinions regarding this tale.
