Unabridged Audiobook
We've already had a conspiracy working against the protagonist and his fellows in Splinter Cell Conviction (novel and game) and an additional one with the events of Breakpoint. So having a third one really feels like retreading the same old same old ground. Which is somewhat ironic considering we recall the events of Ghost Recon 2 for the PS2 and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory in 2007, yet it seems the events of Ghost Recon 2 for the Xbox which take place in 2011 are totally forgotten. That's a big deal considering North Korea disclosed its nuclear capabilities after disavowing Jung Chong-Sun after the fact. Would've been nice to see how we got to here after that. Combine it with this being the third time Nomad gets into a mission with Sam, and Bowman is still his handler despite Bolivia being over, and seeing Kobin, AGAIN, it really makes the universe feel small. Something I've seen across the spectrum.
