Unabridged Audiobook
vampire books are my forte, so this comment may not be for everyone. the start is very cliche. I feel like this story has been done over and over, about a queen to the vampires not knowing it or that she's a vampire. not much climax in the action, a couple places here and there but nothing that would catch my attention. it was a very slow read. also I decided I'd give it a go and listen to the entire thing with no interest of getting the second book. I have an issue with the narrator. there didn't seem to be any enthusiasm while they read this it almost seemed very monotone all the way through especially when there was some parts of mystery in the book. and during the ending scene it was very again monotone, there was no enthusiasm in the scene that was read out. Also i was four hours left to finishing this book when I realized the man that is narrating seemed to be very parched and kept on smacking his tongue trying Rehydrate. Also after every sentence there was always a sucking of air as if it was hard to get through a sentence at a time. And again, this was four hours left of the book. anyone that is over stimulated by specific sets of sounds you may want to avoid this book. again this type of book was not what I go to but I wanted to give it a shot
