Just managed to stick it out until the end. Many implausible actions throughout. Narration was a bit monotonous.

Gripping story of the search for the murderer of a Railroad worker who was killed on the midnight train. Dyke Darrell, his sister and some of their friends are involved in the search. There is a lot of going back and forth from Chicago to places like St. Louis, Iowa and even towards New York City. I found it interesting that one could get off at one place and easily get on the next train in the other direction. Almost amusing but I don’t think it was meant to be. The detective is known as the man hunter of the West because of his successes, but he and his friends face many dangers before the end. The narrator was fine. Some inflection could have helped.
