Unabridged Audiobook
I read this book after reading Neon Gods and it was amazing. Spicy but also a great storyline. Also has action as well. Very good read.
I actually liked this one better than Neon Gods! I was surprised, but I also love me some enemies to lovers. Such an interesting world the author is creating. I really don't like the male narrator voicing the women, there is just something cringy - but you get use to it.
Great read. Started with this one but will now go to the first one just to get the backstory…
Good story line, nice and spicy but not overly done. Narrators were excellent.
4.5 stars. Interesting story and take on mythology. Well narrated.
The narrators fit these characters so much better than Hades and Persephone! It was a nice listen but the story line was the same as her other books. This author is hung up on body image and it's getting annoying. The previous book, she went on and on about how Persephone wasn't taking care of herself and now this one, the character is always talking about being plus size and needing to eat. Considering the vulgar (not complaining) language and sex scenes graphically (again not complaining), this would not be a book appropriate for teenagers. And body shaming isn't something we should be into as adults.
just as good as the first one.
This was my first Katee Robert novel and wow! I loved Neon Gods...it puts me in mind of Neil Gaiman's American Gods...just way, way hotter! I loved them as a couple, and the storyline was a clever take on Hades and Persephone as far as romantic and erotic novels go. Katee you just gained a new fan!
