Stephanie Plum is thinking her career as a fugitive apprehension agent has run its course. She's been shot at, spat at, cussed at, fire-bombed, mooned, and attacked by dogs. Time for a change, Stephanie thinks. Time to find the kind of job her mother can tell her friends about without making the sign of the cross.

So Stephanie Plum quits. Resigns. No looking back. No changing her mind. She wants something safe and normal. As it turns out, jobs that are safe and normal for most people aren't necessarily safe and normal for Stephanie Plum. Trouble follows her, and the kind of trouble she had at the bail bonds office can't compare to the kind of trouble she finds herself facing now. Her past has come back to haunt her. She's stalked by a maniac returned from the grave for the sole purpose of putting her into a burial plot of her own. He's killed before, and he'll kill again if given the chance. Caught between staying far away from the bounty hunter business and staying alive, Stephanie reexamines her life and the possibility that being a bounty hunter is the solution rather than the problem. After disturbingly brief careers at the button factory, Kan Klean Dry Cleaners, and Cluck-in-a-Bucket, Stephanie takes an office position in security, working for Ranger, the sexiest, baddest bounty hunter and businessman on two continents. It might not be the job she'll keep for the rest of her life, but for now it gives her the technical access she needs to find her stalker. Tempers and temperatures rise as competition ratchets up between the two men in her life

her on-again, off-again boyfriend, tough Trenton cop Joe Morelli, and her bad-ass boss, Ranger. Can Stephanie Plum take the heat? Can you?

Between the adventure and the adversity there's attitude, and Stephanie Plum's got plenty in her newest misadventure from Janet Evanovich, Eleven on Top.

Overall the book was good i enjoyed Lula with other books a big difference in the book with her in it. I'm not sure why she had such a small part in this one. Honestly if i had known she had hardly nothing in the book i would not have bought it

Have always loved the Stephanie Plum series. This was the first time I heard an audio version and OMGosh the narrator is amazing. She brings the story to like better than I can in my imagination. Can't wait to continue listen to more of the series.

Love the Stephanie Plum series, and this book is no exception. The narrator is incredible, with different accents and tones. No two characters sounded alike! Can't wait for #12 to arrive...

I am constantly amazed at these "series" writers and how they are able to introduce their characters anew with each novel. JE is a master of it. But for some reason, number 11 just didn't ring the bell for me. This is my second foray into the Stephanie Plum group and I really enjoyed the other one (!4) much better. This one was good enough that I'll read others, but not nearly as good as that one. As usual the narrator did a masterful job!

Janet never lets me down. Ahe job at Rangeman might just work out. Lula can do that bounty hunter schtick. And Stephanie, just marry the guy, will ya.'

Great listen, once again! The dialogue was made for audiobooks-so entertaining! I laughed out loud at Stephanie's donut dilemna and Lula's comments-hilarious!

What is not to like in any Stephanie Plum book by Janet Evanovich. The charcters are so funny and very likeable, I especially get a good laugh from her grandmother! I really recommend this book, however, if you have not had the occassion to hear or read any of the books by Janet, start from the bottom and work you way up to "11". You will not regret the ride.

I love Stephanie Plum. I love the narrator. These are the most fun and exciting stories to listen to on the way home from work! And Stephanie's dilemna is wonderful...Ranger or Joe Morelli!!!

Another hit for Stepanie Plum! Really enjoy all the characters. The series really moves along at a fast pace and keeps your interest. The decision between Ranger and Morelli is a real problem for Stephanie, oh but everyone should have such a problem!!..and I love her dilemma... Keep the Plum books coming.

Well worth the listen! If you like this series (and who doesn't?) then you will surely enjoy this one as well. In true JE form, it is funny, sweet, filled with sarcasm, completely improbable, ridiculous and completely enjoyable! Enjoy the listen!

I had never read nor listened to a Janet Evanovich story before. When I first started listening to Eleven on Top (1st CD), I wasn't sure I was going to like it; it seemed a little slow at first. But getting into the 2nd CD, I found that I was hooked. The reader was excellent and the author really knows how to develop each character -- it was easy to distinguish between the characters. I couldn't wait until the next CD and when I reached the last CD, I didn't want the story to end. This was a really fun story, and I highly recommend it. I'm ready for Janet's next story.

If you like one of these, you like them all. This was good, but too short. Worth the listen.

I love the Stephanie Plum character so I always look forward to the next installment. This one wasn't one of the best though, maybe a little stale but still enjoyable.
