Unabridged Audiobook
Very well done and enjoyable. True to historic fact but with the very real details of life at that time, even royal life, with the fleas and lice and rats, the buildings unrepaired and crumbling, the murder and intrigue. The young Elizabeth, age 11 and 12 in the book, written as a diary, was innocent and wise, observant as she would be as a queen, independent already, not wishing to ever marry because she has seen what happens to wives -- they are murdered. A good read!
Unimaginative and flat. Elizabeth comes across as whiny and annoying. The writing is equally annoying. Don't waste your time with this.
