Unabridged Audiobook
Mind blowing. Excellent narrative approach to a fiction book.
mind-blowing!
Interesting and well read, but couldn't hold my attention for more than a couple of hours. Not sure what more I was expecting from a boo about fungi....
This book blew my mind. So much interesting exploration of different perspectives on scientific findings and written so beautifully. Writing that confounds your senses. I couldn't recommend this enough.
Utterly wonderful. Sheldrake weaves connections across a range of disciplines : from the philosophical to the microbial, to the socio-political and of course the fungal. This book articulates a shift in the scientific understanding of the world around us that just might be the most important in this century. All of this achieved with poetic simplicity and authenticity.
A very interesting and different view of the world Absolutely fascinating and absorbing. I think Merlin may be very slightly poetically bonkers, but, aren't we all!?
a report of remarkable scale which ensures the observations and analysis are clear, understandable, believable and neatly delivered. At one point I thought the Merlin Sheldrake would zoom out and muse about a quantum effect of fungi......just to simplify how their communications might work.
