The ending was great and definitely made the slower build-up worthwhile. I enjoyed the dark vampire atmosphere, the tension between the characters and the developing romance. The story had plenty of intriguing secrets and promise, and I’m curious to see where the series goes next. However, it took a little too long to reach the main action, so the pacing felt slow in places. Still, an enjoyable start to the series with a gripping final act.

I can’t wait for volume two, this was excellent absolutely excellent I couldn’t stop listening to it. It’s a whole different vampire story and I can’t wait to find out what happens next I highly recommend this.

First off, it is so campy. If camp is t your thing, don't even start it. The voice acting is great, the story is surprisingly not too predictable. I just started the next book and I'm excited!
