Every Promise You Made

I loved the story itself. I read the book when it first came out, and Evan and Hope are still my favorite couple. The narration was not the best for me in fact, I was glad I read the book first, because I would not have enjoyed it as much listening as I did reading. I had issues with speed. To get a decent flow, I turned it up to 1.5, but then it made everything from the female narrator sound overly dramatic. The male narator was okay, I didn't have the over acting aspect, so his chapters were better for me.

4* I have waited for Evan & Hope’s story & wasn’t disappointed. Evan is best friends with Ryker Hope’s Brother but before they left for the army they finally declared their feelings Hope has loved Evan forever, but the man who came back from the war was not the man who left. I can’t wait to read what’s in store for the rest of the gang. Strong alpha men along with sassy, beautiful, funny women who each haven’t had easy lives. Heartfelt emotional story
