It was ok, I had great hope at the beginning but to me, it fizzled out near the end. Just ok.

Great story - kept my interest from beginning to end

Loved this book! It remains one of my favourite Shari Lapena books to this day. It was definitely interesting where the multiple storylines went, and I enjoyed the characters and how everything played out. My mom also loved this book (and we don’t always agree on that lol), she bought it after I told her about it and she even leant her copy to a friend, who also loved it! I am picky with my 5 star ratings but like this book a lot. I recommend it!

I really enjoyed this audiobook. It reminded me of a movie long ago, "The Bad Seed".

Loved it and love the author

I thought it was a great book that got my attention early and kept it throughout the book. I hadn’t expected the turns the book took and would definitely recommend it. The narrator was wonderful as well.

I couldn't get enough. Great story

I'm halfway in and do everything with my headphones on. I can't stop listening. The narrator is so good. I listen while I cook, clean, and mow the lawn. Shari Lapena is a wonderful author and the title is spot on!

Story was twisty but I felt no connection with any character. Maybe she’s planning a sequel, but if not, there were too many pieces not wrapped up. I wish I would have used my credit on a different title.
