Very interesting book. I gained some insight on one of the most important men in British history. It’s a wonder that there hasn’t been more about him in books and film. The only complaint is that the book drops off a bit at the end of his last journey in that it is scant on details except for the circumstances and manner of his death. Narrator was perfect for such a story!
