Eye for an Eye: Blades of Grass Book 5

Before setting out on revenge, first dig two graves...

At home and in China, Americans and their allies tempt fate to fulfill impossible missions. The odds of survival are slim. Will the risky gambles turn the tide of the invasion?

Lou Caldwell doesn’t expect to survive this flight. He’s left his faithful dog Rusty with a friend, knowing in his gut that the unbelievable mission to deliver payback in the heart of China can’t possibly be survived. And as the bleak, likely outcome weighs on him and his multi-national crew, Lou contends with something that only one other person knows—there’s a saboteur on the team.

Things are just as dire across America. A former Marine must take over a “can’t fail” mission at the frontline in Oklahoma while his last two friends slip to safety down a river. In Western Kansas, Gen Z militia members protect the construction of a giant trench meant to stop the advancing Chinese tanks. And in Georgia, a rural community reels from a gang of home invaders, emboldened by the trusting nature of the people and the lack of law enforcement.

Even if the efforts to tip the barbaric scales of war succeed, can the U.S.A. and her people ever become united again? Or has the pump of destruction been primed? Will Americans once more see each other as a worthy neighbor? Or as a vile foe they’re willing to destroy once and for all?
