Leonid Glibov gained fame for his original fables in Ukrainian language. He is known as one of the founders of Ukrainian literature for children. All he has written more than a hundred works of this genre. His first collection of Ukrainian works "Tales Leonid Glebov," containing 36 works, published in Kyiv in 1863
