This series of books by Lynn Austin are gripping and challenging. It was good to be given a lot to think about as I read. It impacts life and life choices. Thank you Lynn for writing works that encourage us towards living our best selves and tackling tough issues like forgivenness and vengeance.

I just cannot get enough of the series. Such a great storytelling mastery, and the narrator is surreal with all the different characters being distinct. The things that happen in this book are disturbing, and so much reminiscing of the fake religiosity of today!

Great book, I really appreciate the historical study that has been done to try to keep as close to actual events as possible

Such an amazing writer and the narrator has a true talent in voices that best express each character. Can't wait to jump into Book 5!
