Such a great book. The narrator that spoke for the MMC had such a good voice! He made that role for me.

The story is very intriguing and interesting. I wish the character voices were consistent to the character speaking BUT the fact that each point of view is actually narrated by the character completely is great! the character accents and voices compliment each other and make listening to them smooth and enjoyable. Regarding the story: it's very interesting and the romance between the two MCs is fast sexually yet grows emotionally as they both grow themselves. They both struggle with their own trauma and they both support each other and grow as individuals. Such a good listen (read).

I listened to this book’s audio version. Narration was done great - I liked both of the narrators. The FMC had an accent that was nice to listen to. The male was just gruff enough to sound like an alien. The FMC has some personal struggles that had happened prior to abduction that held her back - but the MMC helped her get through it, just by being himself and loving her for her. It is insta-mate love - which is my preferred way of alien love! The story is the 1st in the series and I would like to hear more about what happens with the others in this world. There was a lot of world building in this one - but still a lot between the couple. Sometimes I feel like in the 1st book of a series the couple can get lost in the world building - but not the case here. And this alien has two

This book was so good! I really loved the world building of this alien post apocalyptic world in which technology has tried to wipe out the existing race. The males of this world have not seen females in many years due to this, and when he finds his fates mate he is beyond excited. He is a bit overbearing and unused to people not following orders so it is amazing to see his character arc and see him become more gentle and kind with her. Also, I love myself a strong female character and that’s what we get here. The spice level was a slow burn to boom! Also, he has 2 appendages which is everything you could ever want in a man. All in all, I cannot wait to listen to more of this world as time goes!
