Unabridged Audiobook
Well-crafted story. But the narrator devolved into what sounded like a William Shatner parody at times with such halting dialogue. It was distracting.
a dry and predictable story. Felt is was read from the police blotter. a chore to listen to.
Great story... I wish the book was longer and expanded on the characters. Here's hoping Detective Kenda takes my lead and builds a longer story with depth!
This is the 2nd Joe Kenda audiobook I’ve purchased and it was excellent just like the first one! I greatly enjoyed the narration and the story! Would highly recommend!
He had a good pronunciation while reading and is easy to understand, it’s just that sometimes his voice was weird with other characters
Good
Equally as enjoyable as Kenda on TV. Straight forward, uncomplicated storytelling- great for a late-night drive across Colorado and New Mexico…. Narrator gave me Walter White vibes.
Great narrator and amazing story.
good listen, intriguing storyline and characters!
Nice cop vs psychopath procedural thriller
not even going to finish this one
Good book
OK Book. Narrators are very good. Very good story about how the start of fentanyl could have happened.
I thought the story was very interesting. I appreciated the different voices in the narration.
I found the book to be very engaging and informative.
Decent story … very well narratedZ
Admitting to a slight crush on the real Joe Kenda, I did like this book. there were portions that could have been connected better and I agree with an earlier comment regarding speaking in the first person, but overall, it is a good insight into the beginning of fentenyl epidemic.
Terrible and boring
This book was great from the beginning to the end! Joe Kenda was at his very best!!!
I enjoyed the book
This was a good book. Very interesting and informative. We love Lt Joe!
