Summary
A brand new romantic comedy from New York Times bestseller Tessa Bailey!

Georgette Castle’s family runs the best home renovation business in town, but she picked balloons instead of blueprints and they haven’t taken her seriously since. Frankly, she’s over it. Georgie loves planning children’s birthday parties and making people laugh, just not at her own expense. She’s determined to fix herself up into a Woman of the World... whatever that means.

Phase one: new framework for her business (a website from this decade, perhaps?)

Phase two: a gut-reno on her wardrobe (fyi, leggings are pants.)

Phase three: updates to her exterior (do people still wax?)

Phase four: put herself on the market (and stop crushing on Travis Ford!)

Living her best life means facing the truth: Georgie hasn’t been on a date since, well, ever. Nobody’s asking the town clown out for a night of hot sex, that’s for sure. Maybe if people think she’s having a steamy love affair, they’ll acknowledge she’s not just the “little sister” who paints faces for a living. And who better to help demolish that image than the resident sports star and tabloid favorite.

Travis Ford was major league baseball’s hottest rookie when an injury ended his career. Now he’s flipping houses to keep busy and trying to forget his glory days. But he can’t even cross the street without someone recapping his greatest hits. Or making a joke about his… bat. And then there's Georgie, his best friend’s sister, who is not a kid anymore. When she proposes a wild scheme—that they pretend to date, to shock her family and help him land a new job—he agrees. What’s the harm? It’s not like it’s real. But the girl Travis used to tease is now a funny, full-of-life woman and there’s nothing fake about how much he wants her...

I can honestly say this was one of my favourite romance stories. Written with passion and feeling. It made me laugh, smile and want to cry all at the same time! You must listen to this. The narration was great too! I find women doing men’s voices really annoying! E.g. the fifty shades narration... but Charlotte north narrated perfectly. A must for any romance story fans.

Great book! The narrator definitely went all out and changed her voice and accents for all characters. Very funny and also erotic! You really see how men and women transformed from a child to adulthood with the passion and love this book offers. Made me feel warm hearted and inspired at the end of the book. I loved it!

The sex talk was more than a bit over-the-top. I found it annoying. The story would have been much better without it. Great narrator. I don't know how she was able to say all the stuff she did. I wouldn't have been able to say half this stuff out loud. If extreme dirty talk is your thing, you will probably like the book. I was totally turned off by "Travis" because of it. I would have told Georgie to run for her life.

Great story line and narrator etc, just a bit too many explicit scenes for my taste.

I enjoyed this story. I had to fast forward through the sex. I’m not a fan on how he talked to her during sex. It was a bit over the top. Once would be ok, not every time. Such a switch since it a sweet story.

I liked the story how it started but I was disappointed in the description of sexual activity I really need to say it turned me off! I liked the characters but really the explicit descriptions were unnecessary. My opinion I own it!

I absolutely loved this book. The storyline was awesome. I'd choose Tessa again. Charlotte is great as a narrator. I enjoyed her voice and voices. I'm very picky about narrators. I have stopped listening to a book because of the narrators voice. Charlotte is now one of my favorites. Definitely recommend this title.
