Unabridged Audiobook
It’s an ok book. Definitely not one of my top faves, but good enough that I listened to the second and would like to see what unfolds in the books to come. I am invested in the story. If you want a broken, flinchy FMC like I did, this will scratch that itch. The age gap was a little rough for me, mostly because the text kept reiterating how she was not a child. Are you trying to convince us, or is the character trying to convince himself? Just made it really weird for me and almost made me DNF it. Loved the dragons, and the dynamic between the side characters and our FMC. Got a bit bored with some of the constant and repetitive spicy scenes. Overall, not a bad one for your TBR if you can handle the age gap, but I wouldn’t bump it to the top of your list.
