Unabridged Audiobook
The book was interesting but I did find myself annoyed by the protagonists lack of agency in every aspect of his life. Which is assume is the point the author is making. Perhaps it is not perfectly suited as an audiobook as there are lots of time jumps which are not clearly signalled. So a bit confusing at times.
For me, a perfect book. Not a wasted word, yet it seemed I knew worlds about the characters. Gut-wrenching, sad, believable, distinctive. Cant wait to read more of the author's work.
enjoyed the book
The beginning of the book was a bit slow and kind of repetitive, but then it unfolded into a very interesting and captivating story. I enjoyed listening to it very much.
Loved the story, and the narrator!
