Unabridged Audiobook
The descriptions in this book are very imaginative and beautiful. I disliked the monotone narration. I thought the book moved too slowly, since after the first four chapters, I began to wonder if it was a romance or a mystery. The mystery part, the dead body, finally came in about the fifth chapter. I didn’t finish the book because I got got tired of listening to it. If a person likes more romance than mystery, this might be a good fit if they don’t mind the monotone narration.
Word choice is interesting. I think there is an over use of similes/metaphors. All of the plant references just didn’t seem natural like real people thinking/talking.
I thought the story was going very slow. Could be done a little more faster
Unfortunately the voice of Annie was boring and the pronunciation of basic Europian areas was very distracting . I fell asleep many times during this book so may be good for insomniacs.
