Unabridged Audiobook
this is a terrific book. human deceit and self-delusion is a fascinating subject as a psychological phenomenon. I see these behaviours in myself and ohers and find them amusing when they're relatively harmless and sobering when they cause grief to the self and harm to others. this book added considerably to my understanding. now I know why I find showing off in men so annoying. it's also fascinating that some animals share in the practice of deceit and self-deception. a salutary reminder that we are animals too, differing only in degree. there is so much here to provoke thought and discussion. if I could have given it fifteen out of five, I would have.
