Great short story, makes me want to search for the next one!

Well, it wasn't bad, but it was too short (intentionally) to really get attached or emotionally invested in the characters. I bet there are other books, and if you already know the series, it would probably be pretty good. But this was my first exposure to the series.

It took a while to get into this one, then just as I was starting to really enjoy it, it was all over and far too short. With no information on the back story it's left me feeling disappointed as there was so much more that could have been written to flesh out the story of it was longer, But it was a nice little story app the same

great narration. page turner, keeps one reading to the end. interesting to the end.

I love the way Lindsay Buroker tells stories. She is a phenomenal writer and this narrator was good. I’m partial to Caitlin Davis though so it’s hard for anyone to sway my affections there.

Lots of Dragon fun with a practical magic bent to it. Just a taste I imagine if a much mite in depth saga involving a world creation with multiple layers of intrigue. I am, in fact, intrigued enough by the story, to go looking for more!

This was a very good short listen. It moved along with excitement and was to the point without too many unneeded words.

I’ve listened to this audiobook twice because I thought I couldn’t get fully into it if I was distracted etc. I completed it again today but concluded the plot and narrator were just ok. I wouldn’t discourage anyone from choosing it though.
