Unabridged Audiobook
I am neither a scientist nor a biologist (I'm an architect and an artist-painter), but I loved this book. (I listened to the audio version.) It tells a riveting story of the drama of fossil discovery in the Ethiopian Rift, believed to be our ancient ancestor about 4 million years ago. The story crosses the Atlantic many times from the deep canyons of the ancient African land, and crosses America many times. The narrative is spell-binding. The book is well-researched and organized: the narration is excellent, clear, and compelling. May you enjoy this journey. jkh 2025
