Free To Be In Christ: A Comprehensive Discipleship Counseling Workbook - Life As God Intended

Free to Be “In Christ” is the first volume in the Life As God Intended discipleship counseling series by Christian counselor Don Burzynski.

Many sincere Christians struggle with frustration in their spiritual life. They know what Scripture teaches, yet they often feel trapped in cycles of striving, guilt, and renewed effort. The problem is not a lack of sincerity or desire to follow God—it is a misunderstanding of the source of the Christian life.

In this comprehensive discipleship workbook, Don Burzynski invites listeners to rediscover the liberating biblical truth that the Christian life was never meant to be lived through human effort. Instead, it is the life of Jesus Christ living within the believer, expressed through a relationship of grace and faith.

Drawing from more than thirty years of counseling experience, Burzynski addresses common struggles such as identity confusion, performance-based Christianity, fear, shame, and the exhausting pursuit of self-improvement. Through clear biblical teaching and practical insight, listeners discover what it truly means to live “in Christ.”

Rather than offering another list of spiritual techniques, Free to Be “In Christ” points listeners back to the heart of the gospel: Christ Himself is the believer’s life.

When this truth becomes clear, the Christian life moves from striving to resting, from pressure to participation, and from frustration to freedom—allowing believers to experience Life As God Intended.
