An interesting read but, man, so sad too to see so much internalized racism and negativity towards Native Americans by a Native American. Fascinating to hear his critics of white people and white Christians that still hold true today a hundred years later.

Loved the true account of Indian history by a Native American. Should have been read by a man, though.

Very insightful

An interesting book and I assume his accounts of how things actually happened to be fairly accurate. I grew up in South Dakota and his account of Wounded Knee gave a much more detailed perspective of what was going on than what our history books said.

I loved this book and much respect to this gentleman. I appreciated his observations at the end of the book regarding Christianity. I agree entirely with that part.

Solid Good listen

I thoroughly enjoyed the book and the perspective of assimilation and white society. Would have much preferred a different narrator.
