Unabridged Audiobook
Kevin Foley is such an excellent reader that I felt as if I were watching a movie. Inflections and dialects really brought the characters to life.
The incredible story of the men of four nations who fought for control of America in the 1700s during the period knows as the French and Indian War. You have the honorable French General, loathsome Canadian wilderness men of French extraction, the British by a variety of leaders, men of various character from the colonies from founding fathers and immigrants, to the countless tribes of the native peoples. Allan W. Eckert is masterful at bringing history to life using the facts and interweaving narrative. A must read for anyone who loves history, particularly early American history.
Great book, well written and paints a beautiful picture.
