Summary
Welcome to New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Kristen Ashley's Colorado Mountain Series, where friends become family and everyone deserves a second chance.

Love is the greatest gamble of all . . .

Nina Sheridan desperately needs a timeout vacation. With a fianc?àö¬© who can't even remember how she takes her coffee, Nina wants some distance to rethink her engagement. Flying halfway around the world from England to a mountain town in Colorado should do the trick. But when she finds a gorgeous man at her rental cabin, Nina's cold, lonely adventure suddenly heats up.

The owner of the house, Holden 'Max' Maxwell is surprised by the beautiful woman who turns up at his door. But when Nina becomes ill, Max spends days nursing her back to health. A private man with a broken heart, Max finds himself drawn to the strong-willed woman. Soon it becomes impossible for Nina and Max to deny their growing attraction to one another. Yet even as these two wounded souls think about taking a chance on a relationship, a secret from Max's past emerges-and threatens to end their love for good.

I really enjoyed this book. There were lots of little story lines along the way to keep you interested, and I felt as if I really got to know each character. The narrator did a fantastic job with the different accents and male and female voices. .

I like the narrators voice. She did a pretty good job doing the males voice. I really enjoy this story it was constant action, and the situations were very complicated. The characters were really sweet.

I liked the book and the story. I liked the narrator as the woman's voice. I had a hard time with her doing all the men's voices. The main man character sounded at least 20 years older if not more. I had a hard time envisioning them together. I probably would have liked this book better if I would have read the book.

KRISTEN ASHLEY is one of my new favorites. Her plots, characters and dialogue are top rate. If you enjoy Nora Roberts, Linda Howard, Jane Anne Krentz, and others of those ilk, you will enjoy Kristen Ashley. The narrators doing the audio formats of these books are also quite good.

Great book, it was neatly written and has its funny moments as well as romantic, which is great! Definitely will keep you on the edge of your seat to know what will happen next. The narrator was awesome! Very talented. It was so neat to hear the different verbal accents she put for each character wether female or male. It really felt like listening to the characters themselves. She brought this book to life. I really enjoyed it.
