This book almost requires you to have a grasp on negotiating terms and tactics beforehand and I wouldn't say it's a great introduction for a newbie or beginner. I really enjoyed the last chapter where they answer questions that readers may have had or suggested to the author as it makes it a little more realistic. Most of this reading seems a little out of date/touch and I think using a lot of these tactics would get yourself labeled as "difficult" since it's as if the author is suggesting we should be negotiating every little conversation at every chance we get.
Not as suited for business and salary as I'd hoped.
Book was very good! Wonderful introduction into the art of negotiation.
the first narrator so so boring I had to fast forward.
the second the one reading the book had no personality and was really dry.
and this damn thing don't teach ANYTHING about negotiation!! all it does is give you a stupid a**history lesson!
I thought this book was easy to follow. Since I had the hard copy as well, I check on some of the items as I know there are several tables and found that they were walked through very well in the audio book.
This is great book that explains negotiations and how it applies in numerous situations.
