Unabridged Audiobook
brilliant and fresh, with a satisfying ending
This was a perfect audiobook, the narrator's voice and Dublin vernacular lent so much to the story. One of those rare occasions where the audiobook is maybe better than the printed page. The story itself was by turns laugh out loud funny and heartbreaking. To say the main character was flawed would be an understatement but it's a testament to the writing that you never lose sympathy for them, despite their very human failings.
