Unabridged Audiobook
I thought the book was very good. I had lived in L.A. for 30yrs and when the book talked about all the areas Stevie lived and been through in L.A. It was a reminiscent of memories for me knowing those areas and even being at a lot of the places mentioned in L.A. The book had me feel as though I was apart of the story looking from the outside. Although I was never really a big Fleetwood or Nicks fan, I did like a lot of the music but I was more of a hard rock/ heavy metal fan then. Never following Stevie or Fleetwood it was a very amazing story and great to read that Stevie saved herself from addiction and is much better. It is sad to note that just after this book had came out on the market, not long later Tom Petty past away which I am sure was a sad day for Stevie as he had been a good friend to her. Stevie had been through so much, my heart goes out to her, the Queen of rock.
I’ve always been a big fan until finishing this book. I have negative opinions of Stevie now unfortunately.
good book. ..
I know of a lot of what was going on in her career, but the level of substance abuse is sad, but that was and is the music industry..That needs a lot of help to change and hold some accountable. I'm still a fan and always will be.
Great read if you are a fan. Good look at lifestyle behind the music
Love Stevie & love the book! This book gave much more in depth information than I’ve ever known & I’ve followed her career since the early Fleetwood Mac days. Can’t wait to listen again.
Well written, good narrator but as the foot notes say a lot was left out of the story, probably would have been better story, but I still enjoyed it
Good book. I love Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks. This book was well written and very informative.
